My view

I loved adventure the moment me and my brother started counting waterfalls while driving through Coquihalla highway when we were little. Or my dad teaching me how to swim in rivers and stormy oceans. Sharing moments I will never forget, ones that make me laugh, make me feel peaceful.

I love photography because it is a perfect balance between memory and art.

Location

I am your traveling wedding & editorial photographer based in a remote corner of Heaven (AKA golden grasslands/small town of Merritt BC). I was originally from Vancouver, moved to California when I was 18 and then back again. After meeting my partner and years of exploring, camping, hunting, fishing, sleeping in the moonlight, carving our names in trees, we decided that being close to nature was always a part of who we are. I have become passionate about getting to know the people, trail companies and forgotten paths of this place. People often wonder why I would move to such a small town. It gives me an immense desire to show people the gift that BC has given me, while capturing they’re unique story. Don’t worry, we also picked it because it's central to everywhere in BC from the wild to the tame. If you're good to drive to me or me to you, let’s find the perfect place together.

I have been attacked by an owl TWICE in my life

In my spare time you can find swimming across lakes or exploring on the back of a horse and my puppy bronco by my side

How we met

Eric is awesome, we met at a music festival. One of the first conversations at the festival was him telling me his passion about food. We talked about farming and nourishing the earth properly, and our desires for being outdoors, while electronic music blasted around us. I think I said something along the lines “I've been dying to learn more about hunting and being a part of the process of finding where our food comes from.” He lit up like a Christmas tree. And after many deers we have packed out together, making delicious dinners right from the garden, we decided to choose each other forever.
He also says things like “I know where we can get one” after I ask him if we should get a peacock for our backyard. Which makes me laugh so hard and I just love the shit out of him.

What he does

Eric is a wealth of knowledge about the most beautiful, off-the-beaten-path spots for unique shoots

Fun facts

He loves digging through abandon thrift stores and junk yards just as much as I do.

He has 4 different ford trucks he’s rebuilding from the 70's to 90's.

I asked him what his favourite food was and he responded: “But there are so many yummy things”

He is always willing to take the scenic route to find new places.

He is also starts laughing when things go wrong and is passionate about finding solutions to any problems

His super power is sleeping. He can sleep anywhere no matter the surroundings, it's almost annoying.
